Here is a summary of what Claire and I went over at the parent meeting.

Teams Suits and Caps

-Caps will be available for purchase throughout the season for $10 each.

Meets - Schedule, Volunteering and Donations

-Our first Dual meet is at home this year against Trident on June 19. I have attached the full meet schedule to this email

- Our meets do not run without help from our families, so we ask each family to provide volunteers for at least 5 of our meets. This can be really fun, and in some cases you get a from row seat to the action. There are lots of different positions and we can help anyone find their perfect fit. Any family that does not meet the minimum volunteer requirement will not be able to compete in any of our post season meets, Silvers and Swim/Dive Champs. All the signups are listed by meet on Swimtopia.

-Our snack stand at the meets is an amazing way to generate revenue for our club and offset so many of the cost of running our team. With that in mind we ask each family to donate one food item for each home meet. All the needed items can be found in the signup on Swimtopia.

- All the meets are live in Swimtopia, so please commit your swimmers to the meet so the coaches know they are attending and signup for a job and donation.  Please find all the meet sign ups on the schedule page, just click on the meet to sign up.

We have four extra meets outside of our usual dual meet schedule

Bethlehem Swimmers Cup on June 14.  We will need your help for this meet as we are hosting it!  I will be sending the sign ups and additional information in a separate email.

Mini Meet July 12 at Orchard View Swim Club - very fun meet for our 10 and under swimmers.  This is a non-DQ meet so swimmers can give some new strokes a try.

Silver Champs July 19 at Stonecrest Swim Club - This is for all our swimmers that do not have events in the championship meet.  This is another really fun league event that gives our kids another chance to show off their skills in the pool.

Diving Champs July 23 at Lehigh Country Club - The leagues annual diving championship, more details will be provided by Coach Gabby as it gets closer.

Swim Champs July 25 and 26 at Westwood Heights Swim Club - This two day event will showcase our swimmers with the following schedule.  8 and unders and Crescendo on Friday evening.  13 and over swimmers on Saturday early session and 11-12 and 9-10 swimmers in the afternoon session on Saturday.   More info to come as the event get closer.

Picture day is June 24 with individual photos starting at 3:45pm and the group photo to follow.  Info for ordering is attached.

Swim Culture towels are still available for ordering, please get your order in by June 13!

Practice is beginning June 10th here is how the kids will be broken out into practice groups:

Group 1 - advanced swimmers- 7-9 am (proficient in all four strokes and can tolerate 2 hours of lap swimming)

Group 2- Intermediate -9-10 am (Familiar will all four strokes and previous experience on a competitive swim team) Group 3 - Beginner Group- 10-10:45 (new to competitive swim. Coaches will assess)
