Hi Swim Families!

I wanted to reach out to all of you and communicate some important info and upcoming dates of note.

First and foremost preseason has begun!  Coach Claire has been communicating all that as well as the info for regular practice which will begin Tuesday June 10.

We will be having a parent meeting on Wednesday June 4 at the club @6:30pm.  Claire and I will go over all the info for the season, expectations for practice and meets as well as all other special events and pertinent info.  Please do your best to attend, we will send out a summary after for those that can't make it.

Northwest will be hosting the first annual Bethlehem Swimmers Cup on June 14.  This will be our first meet of the season, and we will be competing against the other two Bethlehem teams the Hanover Stingrays and Bethlehem Tides.  We do not get a chance to swim against these other local kids during the season, so we decided to put something together to foster a healthy competition and create an annual tradition.  As with any meet this will not run without help from our parents and club members.  We will need volunteers to help run the meet, and food donations for the snack stand.  The meet will take place in the morning before club opening from 7:30am to noonish. Tomorrow Friday May 30 is the last day to place an order for custom caps.  I will be sending the order to D&J in the afternoon so please send me any requests by noon.  If you would like non-personalized caps you will be able to get those as well (no need to pre-pay, they will be available all season), as I will be placing a bulk order.  Also, please place your swimmer's suit order if needed directly with D&J as soon as you can so you will have it for the start of the season.  I will happily pick up any ordered suits when the caps come in.  

And last but not least we are offering Northwest swim towels this year.  I sent an email about this to the general club membership, but if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me directly.  Visit the NWSC merch store to order. Deadline for towel orders is Friday June 13.

We will also be adding some team specific merch to the NWSC store.  Notably, hoodies that can be personalized!
